Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking Independent - Montreal East - Bilingual (Commercial Banking)

Location: Saint Leonard, Quebec, Canada. The work arrangement, including the proportion of on-site and remote work, will be discussed during the interview.

What you will do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial banking clients.
• Develop new client relationships through business development, referrals, existing clients, and community contacts.
• Assess client goals, business status, financial needs, and cash flow requirements.
• Develop proposals for financial and strategic solutions, including credit and cash management services.
• Work with internal partners to connect clients with relevant opportunities and provide responsive client service.
• Monitor portfolio credit quality and support clients with credit needs generally ranging from $1MM to $10MM.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial or business banking and demonstrated business development skills.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, account principles, valuation techniques, and cash flow analysis.
• Experience managing the credit quality of a commercial banking client portfolio and/or complex cash management requirements.
• Degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fluent French and English are required to serve clients in the community.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required.
