Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking Independent - Montreal East - Bilingual (Commercial Banking)

What you will do

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Commercial Banking clients.
• Develop new client relationships through business development activities, referrals, existing clients, and community relationships.
• Understand clients’ business goals and provide end-to-end financial solutions for growth, cash flow management, efficiency, and risk mitigation.
• Monitor client relationships and ensure day-to-day banking needs are addressed with high-quality service.
• Work with internal partners to connect clients with opportunities and develop proposals for financial and strategic solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in Commercial or Business Banking and demonstrated business development skills.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and account principles, including valuation techniques and cash flow analysis.
• Experience managing the credit quality of a portfolio of commercial banking clients with credit needs generally ranging from $1MM to $10MM and/or complex cash management requirements.
• Degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Fluency in French and English to serve clients in the community.
• Ability to work legally at the specified location and, where applicable, hold a valid work or study permit.
