What you will do

  • Develop and automate test infrastructure for Terran R’s Flight Termination System hardware.
  • Build automated test workflows and data review pipelines for avionics validation.
  • Support qualification and acceptance testing of flight hardware.
  • Design, execute, document, and communicate system test results.
  • Collaborate with avionics, software, and systems engineers to prepare hardware for integration.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software integration issues and support root-cause investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or software engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in high-reliability product development and/or testing.
  • Experience developing and improving test automation frameworks and automated test-data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with test instrumentation, data acquisition systems, test automation, and data analysis development and verification.
  • Experience working in safety-critical or regulated environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to interpret CAD models, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics for hardware integration, test setup, and troubleshooting.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with aerospace regulatory and safety organizations, including Space Force Range Safety and the FAA.
  • Experience in laboratory or test environments, including test design, execution, and results documentation.
  • Experience designing or debugging custom PCBA-level electronics.
  • Experience with HIL or SIL platforms and complex integrated systems.
  • Understanding of failure analysis and root-cause investigation processes.
