Production Shift Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; onsite manufacturing environment. The primary shift is Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:00 AM, with required flexibility Monday–Friday between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM for shift handoffs and site coverage.

Salary: $80,000–$95,000 annual base compensation, depending on skills and experience. Annual bonus eligible.

What you will do

• Supervise Machining, V&M, and InVue departments and manage approximately 30–35 hourly employees.
• Coordinate scheduling, workflow, staffing, and daily work direction to achieve production requirements and on-time shipment.
• Promote safe work practices, maintain cleanliness and PPE compliance, and collaborate with EHS on safety training.
• Provide employee training, coaching, performance reviews, and documentation while building accountability and teamwork.
• Monitor product quality, investigate issues, support document change orders, and maintain manufacturing instructions.
• Apply Lean/Six Sigma methods, SPC, Kanban, PDCA, visual management, 6S, waste reduction, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 5+ years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, planning, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., work on the production floor, stand for periods of time, and comply with safety requirements.
