Production Process Operator IV (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in San Diego, California, USA

Salary: $24.1587–$30.1683 per hour, plus an annual 10% bonus opportunity

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, set up, calibrate, and adjust complex production equipment according to SOPs and work instructions.
• Monitor process parameters, maintain production targets, and troubleshoot equipment or process abnormalities.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks, document batch records and deviations, and maintain compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process optimization methods.
• Collaborate with quality control, maintenance, engineering, and production teams to improve reliability and throughput.
• Mentor junior operators and support training on process operations, troubleshooting, safety procedures, SOPs, and best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, production methods, and technical documentation, including blueprints, schematics, and process diagrams.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues and perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail, precision, communication, multitasking, and commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work onsite in San Diego, California, USA, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, crouching, and repetitive production activities.
