Manufacturing Supervisor (First Line Leader: 3rd Shift)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio; on-site. The role is designated for the 3rd shift, 9:30pm–5:30am, although the posting also describes it as an 8-hour day shift position.

What you will do

• Lead and execute daily production activities for one shift at the Cleveland site.
• Lead, coach, develop, and hold approximately 5–10 non-exempt employees accountable for safety, quality, behavior, and performance.
• Plan shift activities, staffing, and resources to meet production schedules and performance goals.
• Drive continuous improvement, waste elimination, problem solving, and issue resolution using Lean/Six Sigma objectives.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, conduct line walks, and take corrective actions to maintain product quality and safe operations.
• Coordinate equipment readiness for maintenance and contract activities, including cleanliness, decontamination, lockouts, and work permits.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Confidence with current computer applications and related skills.
• People leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to support Process Safety Management, EHS and Quality investigations, Standard Operating Procedures, statistical process control, and production performance objectives.
• Willingness and ability to become a Safe Work Permit Writer.
