Analyst-Collections (Finance)

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with flexible work location on Fridays

Salary: $35,300.00–$64,224.99 annual base salary range

What you will do

• Manage an accounts receivable portfolio of approximately 1,400–1,600 customer accounts.
• Use collection software and execute strategies to reduce receivable delinquency and Days Sales Outstanding.
• Contact customers about overdue receivables, identify reasons for non-payment, and place accounts on credit hold when appropriate.
• Resolve customer inquiries involving documentation, billing, payment applications, disputes, program changes, and new sales requests.
• Monitor credit-line compliance, recommend credit-line changes, prepare over-line approval requests, and support credit decisions with DNB reports and references.
• Promote, negotiate, and sell automated or pre-payment options while collaborating with sales offices, plants, customers, and internal partners.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or Business is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in collections or customer service required; manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Experience with risk analysis and receivables collection is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly work to meet collection metrics.
• PC literacy and basic Microsoft Office proficiency required.
