Location: On-site in Dallas, Texas; Boston, Massachusetts; or San Diego, California

Salary: $91,660–$137,490 per year, plus bonus, benefits, and equity for regular full-time employees.

What you will do

  • Design high- and low-voltage power systems, DC-DC converters, inverters, motor controllers, battery systems, battery management, power generation, and distribution.
  • Develop solutions ranging from below 1 kW to above 10 kW across the full hardware lifecycle, including modeling, worst-case analysis, schematic capture, simulation, prototyping, testing, and validation.
  • Own PCB design and collaborate with ECAD engineers to optimize power density, EMI, thermal performance, and manufacturability.
  • Implement embedded safety and protection mechanisms and design for safety, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Perform board bring-up, verification, validation, and HALT testing to meet aerospace reliability standards.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, CAD, embedded, software, production, and aircraft teams while leading design reviews and managing technical milestones.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
  • Experience with circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, circuit testing, and debugging.
  • Familiarity with Altium or an equivalent tool.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, multimeters, and similar laboratory equipment.
  • Ability to obtain an S//SAR-level security clearance is desired.
