Salary: $120,000–$175,000 annually
Company
Corp. is building space infrastructure based on satellites that collect sunlight, power on-orbit computing, transmit energy through infrared lasers, and deliver secure high-bandwidth optical data.
What you will do
- Design, develop, validate, and integrate spacecraft power electronics from concept through flight.
- Architect power distribution, management, conversion, and regulation systems for spacecraft subsystems.
- Design and analyze DC-DC converters, battery management systems, and power control electronics.
- Create and execute functional, environmental, and hardware-in-the-loop test plans.
- Perform power-budget, efficiency, thermal, and fault-condition analysis, including protection strategies.
- Support board bring-up, vehicle integration, pre-flight testing, anomaly investigation, root cause analysis, and on-orbit performance analysis.
Requirements

- At least 3 years of experience designing or testing power electronics or avionics systems.
- Strong knowledge of DC-DC conversion, control systems, and power distribution.
- Experience with schematic capture, PCB design, board bring-up, and laboratory debugging using oscilloscopes, power supplies, and electronic loads.
- Experience in high-reliability or hardware-focused environments.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required for ITAR-controlled technology.
Nice to have
- Spacecraft, aerospace, or harsh-environment power-system design experience.
- Experience with battery systems, solar arrays, energy storage, radiation-tolerant design, or thermal management.
- Experience with hardware-in-the-loop testing, FPGA or embedded systems, reliability analysis, FMEA/FMECA, derating, or fault tolerance.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-ownership environments with aggressive timelines.
Culture & Benefits
- Equity in Corp.
