Director, Implementation Services (AI)

Location: Remote, must be based on the U.S. East Coast, with preference for Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, or North Carolina. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Salary: $200,000–$225,000 base salary per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end technical implementations across customer environments, from discovery through go-live.
• Set up customer infrastructure, including environments, SSO/SAML, identity providers, user access, service accounts, APIs, and other technical prerequisites.
• Scope, coordinate, and troubleshoot API integrations and system connections with customer IT, DevOps, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Configure, validate, and troubleshoot JSON-based mappings between customer and third-party data and Faro’s structured data model.
• Develop and refine AI prompts for document ingestion and protocol authoring workflows, including extracting, classifying, transforming, and structuring clinical content.
• Build implementation playbooks, standards, and processes while managing a Project Manager responsible for timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Professional Services, Solutions Architecture, Technical Implementation, Integration Services, or a similar customer-facing technical SaaS role.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise SaaS infrastructure, SSO/SAML, identity providers, APIs, authentication, service accounts, and system integrations.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting structured data mappings using JSON or similar formats.
• Experience developing or iterating AI prompts or rules-based logic for data ingestion, content transformation, or workflow automation.
• Ability to work with customer IT and technical teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based on the U.S. East Coast and able to travel up to 30%.

Nice to have

• Experience in life sciences, clinical development, or regulated enterprise software.
• Familiarity with clinical data, structured data standards, or protocol design workflows.
• Experience building or scaling an Implementation, Professional Services, or Technical Services function.
• Deeper experience with generative AI workflows.
