Head of Health-System Implementation (Healthcare)

Location: San Francisco (Hybrid)

Salary: $205,000 – $250,000

What you will do

• Lead strategic, complex health-system implementations end-to-end across large provider organizations and IDNs.
• Build and lead the implementation team, including hiring, coaching, and defining team structure.
• Develop the implementation playbook, including scoping methodology, best practices, and internal tooling.
• Own portfolio-wide launch performance and proactively mitigate systemic execution risks.
• Serve as the executive relationship owner for flagship accounts, engaging directly with CIOs, CMIOs, and other senior leaders.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales leadership to translate implementation insights into roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in Consulting, Implementation, or Delivery.
• Direct experience implementing SaaS or enterprise software at large health systems or IDNs.
• Deep, hands-on experience implementing software within an Epic environment at scale.
• Proven track record in multi-workstream program management and cross-team dependency management.
• Strong people-management experience with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
• Executive presence with the ability to engage and influence C-suite stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in patient access, scheduling, or digital front door domains.
• Familiarity with additional EHR systems (Oracle Health/Cerner, Athena, NextGen) and contact-center platforms.
• Experience building internal tooling or reporting infrastructure.
• Prior experience in a health tech or AI company.
