Release Engineer (AI)

Location: Buenos Aires vicinity, Argentina; hybrid with 3 days per week onsite

What you will do

• Own the release management lifecycle across multiple product portfolios and release cadences from daily to quarterly.
• Coordinate with Product Development, Test Engineering, SRE, and Managed Services across the software development lifecycle.
• Assess branch, merge, dependency, risk, scope, schedule, and quality impacts.
• Build automated deployment solutions, internal tooling, and CI/CD improvements to reduce manual work.
• Identify release blockers and technical bottlenecks, communicating them to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Use Python or Java and AI capabilities to improve release reliability, speed, and deployment health monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development, test engineering, QA engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, semantic versioning, quality gates, release processes, and deployment automation.
• Experience in release or DevOps environments with a strong focus on automation and automated deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes monitoring tools for deployment tracking.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Java for infrastructure tooling and script automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Jira.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple organizations, including executives.
• AI or machine learning experience for release workflow optimization and predictive deployment health monitoring.
• Experience using modern AI coding assistants to accelerate internal tool development.
