What you will do
- Own and evolve the cloud platform, including the compute layer, EKS fleet, serverless infrastructure, and networking across AWS and GCP.
- Design and maintain the infrastructure-as-code foundation and shared components used by product and engineering teams.
- Maintain the networking layer to ensure reliability, security, and scalability across cloud environments.
- Enhance observability by improving dashboards, alerts, and SLOs to ensure issues are identified before they impact customers.
- Develop AI-powered automation for policy-as-code, drift detection, and LLM-assisted runbook generation.
- Contribute to the culture and expansion of the international infrastructure team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience operating cloud infrastructure in high-availability, customer-facing environments.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS and managing Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi or Terraform.
- Experience navigating multi-region or multi-cloud environments on AWS or GCP.
- Must be based in Argentina.
Nice to have
- Experience with Karpenter, cluster autoscaler, or other Kubernetes-native scaling tools.
- Proficiency with OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Experience building AI-assisted infrastructure tools for cost optimization or anomaly detection.
- Experience with multi-region architecture, including data residency and regional failover.
