What you will do
- Design, implement, and operate scalable, highly available Kubernetes infrastructure for geographically distributed, event-driven systems.
- Build cloud-agnostic Kubernetes environments optimized for high-throughput real-time event processing.
- Develop resilient distributed systems and automated scaling strategies for changing workloads.
- Implement GitOps workflows and automate deployments, rollbacks, and infrastructure updates with Terraform or OpenTofu.
- Deploy and manage PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis within Kubernetes.
- Support observability, security, networking, traffic management, and production troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing Kubernetes infrastructure for large-scale, event-driven systems.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration, networking, security, and scaling.
- Experience operating Kubernetes workloads in AWS and using Terraform or OpenTofu for infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience with GitOps tools such as Flux or ArgoCD and automated CI/CD deployments.
- Strong Linux administration, networking, and troubleshooting skills, plus proficiency with Helm.
- Experience with event streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ, and the ability to collaborate with Go-based backend teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or ELK.
- Knowledge of advanced Kubernetes security, secrets management, and network segmentation.
- Experience with NGINX Ingress Controller, Cilium, Calico, service mesh technologies, or multi-region deployments.
