DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Buenos Aires; remote work within the Spain time zone with CET working hours.

What you will do

• Maintain and troubleshoot Linux-based environments and containerized workloads using Docker and Podman.
• Investigate production incidents and ensure platform stability, availability, and performance.
• Develop Bash automation scripts and design CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, dashboards, and telemetry for business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and infrastructure teams on cloud adoption, deployment, and platform modernization.
• Support the migration and transformation of legacy systems across private and public cloud environments.

Requirements

• Strong experience administering and troubleshooting Linux environments.
• Practical experience with Docker, Podman, Bash scripting, AWS, and hybrid cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including routing, connectivity, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, or Tempo.
• Professional-level English and availability for CET working hours are required.

Nice to have

• Development experience with C# or Java and knowledge of .NET or JVM-based applications.
• Experience with application lifecycle management, legacy platform modernization, and complex deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of Linux CPU architecture, memory management, and performance tuning.
• Experience managing self-hosted tooling and infrastructure services.
