Identity & Access Management (IAM) Technology Lead (Cybersecurity)

Location: Boston; compensation is also listed for Jersey City, United States.

Salary: $130,000–$180,000 in Boston or $140,000–$190,000 in Jersey City, plus annual target bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor IAM/PAM developers, systems analysts, and system administrators.
• Design and implement scalable IAM and PAM solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ and equivalent platforms.
• Architect identity lifecycle workflows, including Joiner, Mover, and Leaver processes.
• Develop RBAC, policy-based access governance, and privileged access automation.
• Lead integrations with Active Directory, ServiceNow, HR systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Drive IAM transformation programs from requirements and design through testing, deployment, governance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Identity & Access Management experience, including 3–5 years in leadership roles.
• Hands-on experience implementing SailPoint IdentityIQ or an equivalent IAM platform.
• Application development experience with Java frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, access certification, governance, RBAC, authentication, and authorization.
• Experience integrating IAM platforms with enterprise systems and delivering large-scale IAM transformation programs.
• Program and project management, people management, and cross-functional leadership experience.

Nice to have

• Understanding of DevOps and application deployment pipelines.
• Experience with cloud and on-premises IAM integrations, including LDAP, JDBC, Azure AD, and AWS IAM.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and workflow automation.
• Experience in financial services, regulated environments, or large enterprises.
