Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer (AI)

Location: Boston, MA, United States

Base salary: $126,000–$151,000 USD annually, plus a discretionary annual variable target incentive.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate IAM architectures across enterprise, cloud, SaaS, on-premises, and Managed Services environments.
• Standardize identity platforms including Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, and Active Directory.
• Implement authentication and authorization using SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
• Define RBAC and ABAC models, access governance processes, and identity-driven security controls.
• Integrate IAM solutions with cloud platforms and applications while managing privileged access and secrets through tools such as HashiCorp Vault.
• Support zero trust initiatives and apply AI-driven analytics and automation to detect anomalous access, manage entitlements, and improve identity lifecycle processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IAM or security engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with Entra ID, Okta, and Active Directory.
• Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
• Experience with privileged access management, secrets management, and IAM integrations for cloud and SaaS applications.
• Understanding of zero trust architecture and identity-driven security.
• Experience in regulated environments and relevant certifications such as Microsoft Identity, Okta Certified, or CISSP are encouraged.
