Cybersecurity Technology Manager

Location: Jersey City, United States

Salary: $160,000–$220,000 base salary per year plus annual target bonus

What you will do

• Oversee cloud security configurations across Azure, Entra, and related technologies.
• Partner with infrastructure, configuration management, engineering, and architecture teams to assess security configurations and drive remediation.
• Review application configurations and support onboarding of new applications, including applications with agentic AI capabilities.
• Evaluate segmentation, authentication, security exceptions, configuration deviations, red-team findings, and vulnerability remediation activity.
• Review and approve policy and control deviations, ensuring decisions are documented and aligned with security standards.
• Prepare senior-management updates on remediation progress, application assessments, emerging risks, and escalation items.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience, preferably in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, trends, frameworks, regulations, and industry practices, including NIST, ISO, NYDFS Part 500, and DORA.
• Ability to interpret cybersecurity controls and evaluate alignment with organizational standards.
• Technical proficiency across IT systems, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and business applications.
• Strong executive-level written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and coordinate multiple security activities simultaneously.
