Manager - Network Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: Somerset, New Jersey, USA; hybrid work with required reporting to the Somerset office. Ability to travel 20%.

Annual salary: $150,000–$200,000, including base salary.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of network security engineers.
• Define and execute the enterprise network security strategy, roadmap, standards, policies, and operational runbooks.
• Design and maintain secure network architectures across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Implement and support NGFWs, secure web gateways, DDoS protection, NAC, SIEM integrations, MFA, and identity-aware security controls.
• Support Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365 security initiatives.
• Manage security projects, budgets, vendors, audits, vulnerability management, compliance activities, and executive reporting.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in network security and enterprise infrastructure.
• 3+ years of leaderhirify.globalp or management experience.
• Expertise in enterprise network security architecture and engineering, routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, and VLANs.
• Strong experience with Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, VPN and secure remote access, IDS/IPS, network segmentation, SIEM, logging, and security telemetry.
• Knowledge of Azure and AWS networking and security, Microsoft 365 security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, PCNSE, CEH, or Security+ certification.
• Experience with Zero Trust, SASE, SSE, SD-WAN security, automation, and scripting with PowerShell or Python.
• Regulatory compliance and audit support experience.
