Overview
Lightspeed is looking for a Field Sales Account Executive to join the growing Scotland hospo field sales team. You will implement a strategy that will require you to have a physical presence across either Glasgow or Edinburgh. Each month, you will drive the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
What you will do
- Become an expert in the UK Hospo industry and monitor competitors' products and strategies.
- Research and forecast sales, develop sales strategies, and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Convert prospects into customers through in-person sales methods, including door-to-door and presentations.
- Carry out the entire sales cycle, from lead identification to contract negotiation and deal closing.
- Visit customers regularly to identify business challenges and run product demonstrations.
- Maintain up-to-date records within Salesforce CRM and create new business through network events.
Requirements
- Relevant sales experience in a Field and outbound environment, preferably in solution-sales/technology-related.
- Strong experience in hospitality.
- Strong understanding of sales development best practices.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM to manage pipeline.
- Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, and quota-driven environment.
