Substation Assistant Project Manager (Substations)

Location: Office/Site only in the United States; the posting references Orlando, Florida and Raleigh, North Carolina. Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

What you will do

• Lead substation project activities to meet timelines, customer expectations, and financial objectives.
• Manage scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, risks, changes, opportunities, and leadership reporting.
• Oversee P&L responsibilities and reduce non-conformance costs.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, resource allocation, schedules, and budgets.
• Develop technical knowledge of GIS, AIS, Balance of Plant, and switchgear products.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in power systems or substations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer relationship skills.
• Experience with process improvement, quality management, and global teams.
• Understanding of GIS/AIS, Balance of Plant, and switchgear products.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in engineering or engineering management.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
