Project Operations Manager (Infrastructure/Construction)

Location: Wheatfield, Indiana, United States; work in the office or on-site as project demand dictates, including field environments.

Salary: $83,200–$129,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end project integration across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and completion.
• Monitor project costs and schedules against baselines, manage accruals, and prepare status reports.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and apply quality management processes to deliverables.
• Coordinate project resources, contractors, and cross-functional teams to maintain productivity and alignment.
• Manage stakeholder communication, expectations, and concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain safety, environmental, quality, and organizational compliance, including on-site governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or another technical field plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of equivalent project management or technical construction experience.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).
• Proficiency with scheduling, cost management, and risk management software or dashboards.
• Ability to manage stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and lead teams under tight deadlines and changing conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in field environments with dust, noise, and variable temperatures.
