Senior Manager, Project Management (Retrofits)

Location: USA remote with up to 50% travel to customer sites

Salary: $150,000–$206,800 base pay annually, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Own prioritization, resourcing, schedules, budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting across the retrofit project portfolio.
• Lead, develop, and manage Site Project Managers and Field Technicians.
• Manage executive-level customer relationships and serve as the primary escalation point for site issues.
• Establish stage-gate governance, financial controls, safety practices, and repeatable retrofit delivery playbooks.
• Partner with Account Management and Sales before contract execution to validate scope, schedules, and delivery feasibility.
• Define coordination between the retrofit function and regional teams delivering major projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 8 years of project or program management experience in industrial, distribution, manufacturing, automation, or similarly complex technical environments.
• At least 3 years of people leadership experience managing and developing direct reports.
• Experience managing concurrent projects, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, customer commitments, and change control.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and experience directing field activities in live operating environments.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet, SAP, or comparable project and enterprise systems; valid driver’s license and ability to travel by car or air are required.
