University Recruiter II (Aerospace)

Location: Full-time onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. Travel up to 30% may be required during peak campus recruiting season, with occasional evening and weekend events.

Salary: $95,000–$156,000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Support full-cycle recruiting for intern and early-career roles, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and offer facilitation.
• Partner with engineering hiring teams to align on requirements, maintain candidate records in Greenhouse, and build diverse talent pipelines.
• Plan and execute campus visits, career fairs, conferences, student competitions, and other university-facing events.
• Coordinate student engagement activities, including Long Beach HQ tours, university partnerships, event materials, and cross-functional logistics.
• Support intern program operations from onboarding and orientation through enrichment events, communications, performance tracking, and return-offer logistics.

Requirements

• Ability to work full-time onsite in Long Beach, California.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in university recruiting and early-career hiring.
• Experience supporting full-cycle recruiting, including scheduling, candidate communication, and offer coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professionalism and candidate experience.

Nice to have

• Experience planning university-facing and intern program events, including career fairs, information sessions, student partnerships, onboarding, enrichment activities, social events, and competitions.
• Technical recruiting or coordination experience for software, electrical, or mechanical engineering roles.
• Startup experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar technical environments.
• Familiarity with Greenhouse, Handshake, or similar applicant tracking systems.
• Passion for early-talent development, student engagement, and inclusive candidate experiences.
