Senior University Recruiter (Nuclear Energy)

Location: Torrance, California, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident. Regular travel for campus visits and career fairs is required, approximately 30–40%.

Salary: $110,000–$140,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Design and launch the university recruiting strategy, including target schools, campus events, career fairs, and information sessions.
• Build and manage end-to-end internship and new-grad hiring pipelines from sourcing through offer acceptance.
• Develop relationships with career services offices, faculty, and student organizations at priority universities.
• Partner with engineering, nuclear, and operations hiring managers to forecast headcount and define candidate profiles.
• Configure Greenhouse and Gem, establish candidate tracking processes, and report on program performance.
• Develop internship return-offer and conversion strategies and represent hirify.global to student audiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including ownership of a university or early-career recruiting program.
• Experience building recruiting programs or processes from the ground up.
• Demonstrated success developing school and faculty relationships that create hiring pipelines.
• Proficiency with an ATS or CRM such as Greenhouse or Gem and experience building recruiting reports.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience addressing student audiences.
• U.S. work authorization as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident is required.

• Recruiting experience in engineering-heavy, technical, or scientific fields.
• Familiarity with nuclear engineering, hard-tech, energy, or related university programs.
• Experience building a Talent function at a startup or rapidly scaling company.
• Experience designing internship conversion or return-offer programs.
