Director, Vehicle Fluid Systems Supply Chain (Aerospace)

Salary: $188,000–$282,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Define and execute supply chain strategies for vehicle fluid systems, balancing near-term execution with long-term scalability, resilience, and competitiveness.
• Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing supply chain organization.
• Develop senior supplier relationships, negotiate complex agreements, and manage cost, quality, flexibility, and delivery outcomes.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Program Management on product design, program schedules, and production ramps.
• Establish supply chain KPIs, drive continuous improvement, and manage geopolitical, technical, and supplier-related risks.
• Lead ERP, PLM, and S&OP/IBP transformation initiatives while supporting sustainability, compliance, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience in complex manufacturing industries.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing cross-functional supply chain or operations teams.
• Experience sourcing machined components.
• Demonstrated success developing end-to-end supply chain strategies from new product introduction through high-volume production.
• Strong negotiation, executive communication, team-building, and knowledge of ERP, PLM, SCM, and S&OP/IBP systems.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, or Business Administration.
• Experience leading global supply chain transformation, sustainability, or resiliency initiatives.
• Familiarity with government contracting, ITAR/export controls, or an active/eligible U.S. security clearance.
• Experience with frontier technologies or aerospace development programs.
