Director of Supply Chain

Location: Full-time, onsite role based at the headquarters in Denver, Colorado, United States

Salary: $175,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Own and execute the end-to-end supply chain strategy across sourcing, procurement, materials planning, inventory, logistics, and supplier performance.
• Build, lead, and scale a high-performing supply chain organization.
• Develop a supplier ecosystem for advanced R&D, low-volume/high-complexity builds, and future production scale-up.
• Establish sourcing strategies for critical, long-lead, sole-source, and constrained materials, including make-or-buy analysis and risk mitigation.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, and Finance on design-for-supply, cost, manufacturability, schedule, and risk decisions.
• Implement supply chain systems and processes, track KPIs, negotiate with suppliers, and communicate risks and tradeoffs to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain or procurement experience, including leadership of complex technical supply chains.
• Experience supporting hardware development programs and low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategy, supplier development, material planning, inventory management, and cost control.
• Experience building processes and organizations from early stage through growth and scale.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, energy, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or other highly regulated precision-driven industries.
• Hands-on experience with ERP, PLM, procurement, or supplier management tools.
• Experience scaling supply chains from prototype to production.
