Production Coordinator, Second Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Long Beach, California, United States; onsite, second shift Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. PT. The role includes a 50-hour workweek with 10 guaranteed overtime hours per week.

Salary: $23.38–$35.07 USD per hour, plus a 10% shift premium.

What you will do

• Coordinate with organizations across the company to keep components and assemblies moving through production on schedule.
• Monitor and communicate the location and status of hardware, kits, and builds on the manufacturing floor.
• Complete ERP and MES transactions for production parts.
• Research work orders, kit requests, and internal customer needs.
• Work with Production and Material Planning to identify part shortages.
• Prioritize and execute work autonomously in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Production Coordinator, Expeditor, or in a similar role.
• At least 2 years of experience with ERP, MES, and/or WMS software.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted.
• Strong communication skills across email, Slack, and other platforms.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Availability for a non-standard second shift, overtime, and occasional weekends.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience as a Production Coordinator, Expeditor, or in a similar role.
• Experience in aerospace or automotive environments.
• Experience with Infor LN ERP and/or Jira MES.
• Familiarity with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of EHS guidelines.
