Salary: $148,400–$256,520 per year, depending on geographic market, qualifications, skills, and experience.

What you will do

  • Lead communications strategy for complex policy, regulatory, corporate reputation, and crisis issues.
  • Own crisis communications preparedness, response, frameworks, processes, and readiness programs.
  • Advise senior executives on communications risk, reputation management, and stakeholder strategy.
  • Develop and execute advocacy and communications campaigns that advance policy priorities and protect hirify.global’s reputation.
  • Coordinate messaging and rapid response with Public Policy, Legal, Operations, senior leadership, and global partners.
  • Lead executive communications and media strategies while monitoring emerging issues and measuring communications effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public policy, or a similar field.
  • 15+ years of experience in crisis communications, corporate communications, public affairs, policy communications, journalism, or related fields.
  • Experience leading responses to complex, high-profile, or sensitive issues at a large corporation, technology company, or political campaign.
  • Strong understanding of the DC media and political ecosystem, including advocacy campaigns and US policy communications.
  • Experience advising senior executives, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and serving as an on-the-record spokesperson.
  • Exceptional writing, messaging, judgment, strategic thinking, and ability to work under pressure with limited oversight.

Nice to have

  • Experience in e-commerce, logistics, or related industries at a global company.
  • Experience working on Capitol Hill or in regulatory environments.
  • Background in digital analytics tools, audience insights, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Experience with Asia-Pacific markets and policy issues.
