Vice President Communications

Location: On-site five days per week at the McLean, VA or Mountain View, CA office; other hirify.global offices include New York City, NY and Tampa, FL.

Salary: $275,000–$350,000 USD annual base salary for Mountain View, CA, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and execute communications strategies positioning hirify.global as a technology industry leader.
• Lead executive communications across blogs, media interviews, events, and thought leadership content.
• Oversee press, public relations, product launches, industry recognition, partnerships, and co-branded announcements.
• Build relationships with top-tier media, analysts, influencers, partners, and industry organizations.
• Position executives and the company for awards, speaking opportunities, conferences, and high-profile engagements.
• Lead proactive and defensive crisis communications, reputation management, and employer-brand messaging.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or corporate affairs, including at least 6 years in senior leadership.
• Experience with B2B, B2C, and government stakeholders in the technology sector.
• Proven success in crisis management, reputation defense, and high-stakes corporate storytelling.
• Strong media and analyst relations experience with a record of securing high-impact coverage.
• Ability to influence C-level executives and cross-functional teams while managing internal communications.
• Ability to navigate complex technology-related regulatory and policy landscapes.
