Senior Employment and Regulatory Counsel (AI)

Salary: $240,000–$300,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Advise HR and business teams on employment law, compliance, recruiting, pay practices, reporting, workplace safety, and employee training.
• Lead employment law support for international expansion and corporate initiatives.
• Draft employment agreements, policies, templates, forms, and legal research materials.
• Advise on employee data protection, privacy matters, data subject access requests, and data processing regimes.
• Lead investigations and manage commercial, labor, employment, and intellectual property disputes through discovery, motion practice, and trial.
• Develop scalable litigation, privacy, and regulatory compliance processes, including compliance with artificial intelligence laws such as the EU AI Act.

Requirements

• JD from a top law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 8+ years of related experience, including 3+ years at a premier law firm or government agency.
• Experience managing civil litigation through all stages.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

• Prior in-house legal experience.

• Experience advising on privacy law, employment-related privacy, and international regulatory compliance.
