MD, Treasury Management - Payments Products (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid position based in Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and location; incentive compensation may also apply.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for Treasury Management payment products, including ACH, wire transfers, RTP, card solutions, and emerging payment technologies.
• Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation and requirements gathering through design, development, pricing, launch, and commercialization.
• Manage product performance, competitive positioning, profitability, market trends, and client feedback.
• Ensure payment solutions meet regulatory, industry, risk, security, usability, reliability, and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate with Commercial Banking, relationship managers, sales advisory, technology, operations, legal, compliance, risk, and clients.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing product management team while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• More than 10 years of experience in payments product management, treasury management, or relevant financial services roles.
• Proven leadership developing and managing payment solutions within a large financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of payment systems, industry trends, regulations, risk considerations, and product commercialization.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, strategic planning, and team leadership skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified United States location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
