Head of Product - Reciprocal Deposits (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define the product strategy, MVP scope, founder-bank pilot requirements, roadmap, launch gates, and adoption path for Reciprocal Deposits.
• Own requirements for customer enrollment, bank onboarding, depositor exclusions, insurance-cap enforcement, capacity profiles, allocation logic, and reciprocal matching.
• Build evidence and operational mechanisms including allocation reports, matching records, audit logs, exception histories, settlement outputs, and compliance exports.
• Partner with engineering and architecture on allocation services, APIs, event orchestration, identity, RBAC, audit logging, ledger semantics, settlement, and exception handling.
• Lead commercial positioning, pricing inputs, usage telemetry, sales enablement, customer feedback loops, and product marketing.
• Drive operational and regulatory readiness across bank setup, settlement tests, monitoring, disaster recovery, support runbooks, escalation paths, and exception management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience.
• Experience building platform, infrastructure, banking, payments, treasury, deposit, or financial technology products.
• Experience working directly with engineering teams on highly technical systems.
• Experience managing delivery across product, engineering, legal, compliance, operations, support, finance, and go-to-market stakeholders.
• Strong written communication skills, including PRDs, decision memos, launch plans, and executive-ready narratives.
• Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, regulated, and high-stakes environments while owning adoption and commercial outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with reciprocal or brokered deposits, sweep products, insured cash products, treasury management, liquidity, or deposit operations.
• Knowledge of FDIC insurance workflows, pass-through recordkeeping, compliance evidence, audit logs, or regulatory reporting.
• Experience with tokenized deposits, digital assets, stablecoins, distributed ledgers, API platforms, event-driven systems, or transaction processing.
• Background in financial networks, consortium models, network governance, pricing, billing, usage telemetry, or unit economics.
