Pediatric Clinical Faculty (Part-time)

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment.

What you will do

• Teach the nursing curriculum and course objectives through pediatric clinical instruction.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise and evaluate students providing nursing care.
• Develop clinical assignments aligned with student knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
• Provide documented performance feedback, remediation, and timely evaluation of written work.
• Coordinate student and clinical-agency issues with course coordinators, administrators, staff, and faculty.
• Support program development, assessment, retention initiatives, and applicable regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Louisiana required.
• At least two years of recent professional pediatric experience as a registered nurse within the last five years.
• Strong nursing subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, collaboration, and student support.

• Teaching or precepting experience.
