Maternal Child Clinical Nursing Instructor (Part-Time)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, USA. On-campus clinical schedule: one day per week, Thursday or Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, during an eight-week session.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach maternal-child nursing clinical content covering maternal and newborn care, the childbearing cycle, high-risk factors, complications, and women's health.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise and evaluate nursing students providing patient care.
• Prepare clinical assignments aligned with students' knowledge, skills, and learning needs.
• Provide timely grading, documented performance feedback, and remediation support.
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical agency policies and communicate student or agency concerns to the course coordinator.
• Contribute to curriculum implementation, assessment, retention efforts, and improvement of student outcomes.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing.
• At least two years of registered nursing practice experience within the last five years.
• Professional nurse licensure in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication skills, initiative, and sound judgment.
• Availability for the specified on-campus clinical schedule in Jacksonville, Florida.
