Location: On-site in Mississippi, United States, at a government partner location in Stennis, Mississippi

Salary: $28–$42 USD per hour

What you will do

  • Receive incoming packages, verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders, inspect shipments, and document discrepancies.
  • Move and deliver materials, tools, equipment, pipe, structural steel, and large assemblies across the test site.
  • Operate forklifts and telehandler-style equipment to load, unload, stage, and transport heavy or bulky materials.
  • Package, label, organize, and prepare outgoing shipments in accordance with shipping requirements.
  • Track inventory of parts, consumables, tooling, and equipment to maintain uninterrupted operations.
  • Coordinate logistics activities with technicians, operators, engineers, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations, including material flow, shipments, inventory, and shipping and receiving documentation.
  • Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted, stand for extended periods, and consistently wear required PPE.
  • Ability to read and follow written procedures, policies, and standard operating processes.
  • Clear communication, teamwork, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and a hands-on approach.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn new systems.

Nice to have

  • Industrial material-handling experience with raw steel, pipe, valves, or other large materials.
  • Advanced experience with overhead cranes, telehandler-style forklifts, power tools, or other heavy equipment.
  • Familiarity with safe rigging practices.
