Manufacturing Planner, Fluid Systems Manufacturing (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, California, United States. The role may require late and weekend work as needed to support critical milestones. The person hired must be a U.S. person or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing under U.S. export control regulations.

Salary: $67,000–$108,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain production schedules, demand forecasts, resource plans, and capacity analyses.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Monitor inventory, production progress, capacity constraints, bottlenecks, and schedule deviations.
• Take corrective action to mitigate delays and maintain on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure manufacturing meets specifications and standards.
• Identify process improvements, reduce lead times, and align manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and logistics teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or operations management.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Working knowledge of database query and visualization tools such as SQL and Tableau.
• Experience or understanding of ERP and manufacturing execution systems.
• Must meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. person or be eligible for deemed export licensing.

• Understanding of quality management in aerospace manufacturing.
• Interest in adopting new technologies, methodologies, and continuous-improvement practices.
