Process Technician (Plastic Injection Molding)

What you will do

• Provide technical support to engineers by evaluating tools, materials, equipment, and manufacturing methods.
• Troubleshoot plastic injection molding, tooling, auxiliary equipment, and process issues to identify root causes.
• Develop setup guidelines and optimize molding conditions for production.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, cost reduction, and customer requirements.
• Resolve technical issues in production and ensure products meet quality requirements and established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and support on-time customer shipments.

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Plastic Injection Molding, Mechanical Engineering, Machining, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with plastic injection molding, basic mathematics, systematic troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
• Experience operating molding equipment such as MTC systems and robotic fixtures.
• Expertise in RJG Scientific Injection Molding.
• Knowledge of extrusion and molding, polymer processing and drying, tooling construction, and injection molding defects.
• Knowledge of ISO 19000, ISO 14000, process documentation, and SPC training is advantageous.
