Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Onsite in Penang, Malaysia

What you will do

• Define and implement decision-support tools, methodologies, operational standards, and manufacturing requirements for production processes.
• Analyze factory metrics, workflows, and current processes to identify improvements, correct deviations, and increase efficiency.
• Inspect machinery and tools, verify their efficiency, and initiate corrective actions for deficiencies.
• Develop and troubleshoot factory reporting systems and collaborate with automation teams on performance-monitoring business systems.
• Partner with operations management, engineering, and automation stakeholders to align manufacturing strategies and achieve output targets.
• Create manufacturing documentation and drive automation systems and station-controller capabilities aligned with product roadmaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical or engineering field.
• 0–1 years of hands-on manufacturing experience gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or practical training.
• Knowledge of structured problem-solving methods and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience analyzing factory metrics and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Penang, Malaysia.
