Senior Accounting Operations Analyst

Location: Onsite at the Redwood City office, California, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $53,000–$88,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Manage high-volume vendor invoice processing, coding, purchase-order matching, approval routing, posting, and AP inbox operations in NetSuite.
• Execute domestic and international payment runs by ACH, wire, check, and virtual card while coordinating with Treasury.
• Own vendor onboarding, banking-detail verification, vendor master data, inquiries, and payment dispute resolution in NetSuite and Coupa.
• Improve procure-to-pay workflows by identifying bottlenecks, deploying Coupa and NetSuite automation, and applying agentic and generative AI tools.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close through AP aging reports, accruals, prepaid amortization schedules, balance-sheet reconciliations, and accurate cut-off.
• Maintain SOX-compliant AP controls, detect duplicate payments, support audits, and collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Treasury, and FP&A on spend and payment analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of accounts payable or broader accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
• Hands-on proficiency with NetSuite AP and Coupa, including invoicing, purchase orders, supplier portals, spend analytics, and payment runs.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, AP accruals, prepaid expenses, SOX controls, internal audits, and public-company accounting requirements.
• Experience with domestic and international payments, including ACH, wire, check, virtual card, and foreign-currency transactions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong attention to detail, data accuracy, independent execution, and effective cross-functional communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with publicly traded companies, NetSuite–Coupa integration, AI-assisted AP tools, TransferMate, FloQast, or Concur.
