Senior Accounting Operations Analyst (AI)

Location: Onsite at the Redwood City, California office; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship.

Salary: $53,000–$88,000 USD annual base pay.

What you will do

• Process and review high-volume vendor invoices, including coding, two-way purchase-order matching, approval routing, and posting in NetSuite.
• Execute domestic and international payment runs through ACH, wire, check, and virtual card, coordinating payment schedules with Treasury.
• Manage vendor onboarding, banking verification, tax-form collection, vendor master data, inquiries, and dispute resolution in NetSuite and Coupa.
• Improve the procure-to-pay cycle by identifying bottlenecks, expanding automation, and applying agentic and generative AI tools.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close through AP aging reports, accruals, prepaid amortization schedules, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain SOX-compliant AP controls, detect duplicate payments, preserve audit-ready records, and collaborate with Procurement, Legal, FP&A, Treasury, and auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of accounts payable or broader accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth technology or SaaS company.
• Hands-on proficiency with NetSuite AP and Coupa, including payment runs, invoicing, purchase orders, supplier portals, and spend analytics.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, accruals, prepaid expenses, SOX controls, internal audit requirements, and domestic and international vendor payments.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and experience handling high invoice volumes, PO matching, and AP aging analysis.
• U.S. work authorization is required without current or future company sponsorship; onsite work at the Redwood City office is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with publicly traded companies, NetSuite–Coupa integrations, AI-assisted AP tools, TransferMate, FloQast, Concur, or similar finance tools.
• Experience driving invoice-workflow automation, reducing exceptions, compressing cycle times, or enhancing ERP and procure-to-pay systems.
