Lead SFDC Developer (Salesforce)

Location: Foster City, United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Salary: $155,000–$175,000 per year, excluding incentive compensation and potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Modify and extend Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous jobs, Lightning Web Components, and legacy Aura and Visualforce components.
• Build and support REST and SOAP integrations between Salesforce and connected systems.
• Own Salesforce configuration across custom objects, fields, record types, layouts, validation rules, approval processes, sharing rules, and Sales, Service, Experience, and CPQ Cloud functionality.
• Build Flow automation and migrate legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder automation to Flow.
• Manage user access, SSO/SAML, MFA, security reviews, data quality, audits, reports, dashboards, sandbox refreshes, and data remediation.
• Lead weekly Git/Bitbucket CI/CD releases, seasonal Salesforce releases, production issue triage, and technical debt remediation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications.
• 7–12 years of Salesforce administration and development experience, including at least 3 years as a senior or lead engineer.
• Experience with Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, and/or CPQ Clouds.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Clear communication, analytical problem-solving, and sound technical judgment.

Nice to have

• Platform Developer II, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Application/System Architect certifications.
• Experience remediating technical debt in a large, long-lived Salesforce org.
• Exposure to ERP or procurement integrations such as NetSuite or Coupa, and identity platforms such as Okta.
