What you will do

• Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Develop custom business logic with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Aura Components.
• Configure Salesforce Flows, automation tools, validation rules, security models, permissions, and role hierarchies.
• Integrate Salesforce with internal and third-party systems using APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.
• Contribute to planning, estimation, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-implementation support for IT projects.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, manage AppExchange applications, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and administration experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Salesforce Flows, APIs, integrations, data migration, and security controls.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work remotely from Canada and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or App Builder certification.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD for Salesforce deployments.
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and middleware platforms.
• Experience in higher education, SaaS, or enterprise software.
