TL;DR
Senior Integration Technician (Aerospace): Assembling, installing, and testing flight hardware for the Terran R launch vehicle with an accent on aerospace manufacturing quality, mechanical integration, and production documentation. Focus on applying fasteners and torque, secondary retention, bonding, avionics-related operations, and solving real-time integration challenges in a fast-paced production environment.

Location: Long Beach, California, United States. Onsite first-shift role, Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. PT, with a 50-hour workweek including 10 guaranteed overtime hours.

Salary: $33.20–$49.80 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

What you will do

  • Assemble, install, and test flight hardware for Terran R through development and production.
  • Build and install components and systems while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production teams, integration engineers, and quality specialists.
  • Develop and document job operations and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Operate hand, pneumatic, calibrated, and measuring tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or experience in a related field.
  • Experience handling flight hardware and performing critical operations in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Technical skills in fastener and torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and production teams.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces, climb ladders, navigate uneven surfaces, and frequently crouch, bend, squat, kneel, and reach overhead.

Nice to have

  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant license.
  • Electromechanical build proficiency.
  • Familiarity with propulsion systems and components.
