What you will do

• Lead a team of avionics test engineers responsible for automated test systems supporting Terran R electronics production.
• Own the design, development, implementation, debugging, and maintenance of manufacturing test assets.
• Partner with hardware and software design teams to complete acceptance and qualification testing.
• Develop and validate test systems for motor drives, DC-DC converters, load switches, high-voltage DC electronics, and high-voltage energy storage.
• Support environmental and qualification testing, including vibration, thermal, shock, and EMI/EMC validation.
• Coach engineers in technical best practices and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with electronics hardware simulation, automation, and/or testing.
• Experience leading engineers in technical best practices and domain-specific principles.
• Experience owning complex test system design in a production environment.
• Experience with environmental and qualification testing, including vibration, thermal, shock, and EMI/EMC validation.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium Designer or another schematic capture and PCB design tool.
• Experience with analog sensors, embedded software integration for avionics, Python or MATLAB data acquisition, wire harness design, or NX CAD.
