What you will do
- Develop and execute board-level test plans for avionics, power electronics, communications hardware, and compute systems.
- Design and build automated test equipment, hardware-in-the-loop systems, and custom test fixtures.
- Perform PCB bring-up, validation, troubleshooting, electrical characterization, and failure analysis.
- Develop test software, scripts, and automation frameworks using suitable tools.
- Support thermal vacuum, EMI/EMC, thermal cycling, and other environmental qualification testing.
- Analyze results, prepare reports for design reviews and flight readiness assessments, and improve manufacturing screening and reliability processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- 1–5+ years of experience testing and validating complex electronic hardware.
- Experience with board bring-up, PCB debugging, failure analysis, and laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and electronic loads.
- Experience developing automated test systems with Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of digital electronics, analog circuits, power systems, and embedded hardware.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR.
Nice to have
- Experience with aerospace, satellite, defense, or other high-reliability electronic systems.
- Experience with HITL testing, manufacturing test systems, automated validation frameworks, FPGA, embedded, and mixed-signal platforms.
- Familiarity with Ethernet, PCIe, DDR, SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, IPC standards, electronics manufacturing, and radiation test campaigns.
- Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
