What you will do

• Lead sourcing and supplier management for custom machined components and major vehicle structures.
• Develop supply chain strategies, select suppliers, negotiate long-term agreements, and plan capacity for Terran R build schedules.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, and Supply Chain Planning to improve design for manufacturability and align procurement with program milestones.
• Drive supplier performance through risk management, contract negotiations, and milestone-based tracking.
• Mentor team members and build expertise in precision machining processes and supplier development.
• Improve sourcing processes, supplier health, and program readiness for machining commodities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience managing suppliers for complex aerospace or advanced manufacturing commodities.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing milestone-based agreements.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as LN, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of CNC machining, 5-axis milling, turning, precision grinding, EDM, and tight-tolerance fabrication.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.
• Direct experience managing aerospace machining commodities, including machined components, castings, forgings, sheet metal, or extrusions.
• Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, supplier qualification, and audit processes.
• Experience with supplier performance improvement, NPD/NPI supply chains, risk assessment, cost modeling, and capacity planning.
• Understanding of aerospace material specifications, surface treatments, and inspection requirements.
