Procurement Manager, Subcontracts

Salary: $130,000–$165,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Own supplier selection and sourcing strategy for externally manufactured requirements.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle from RFQ through purchase order delivery, balancing cost, quality, and schedule.
• Lead supplier performance, operational KPIs, transactional SLAs, escalations, negotiations, and commercial resolutions.
• Develop long-term strategies for cost reduction, quality improvement, supply-base growth, capacity analysis, and rate readiness.
• Partner with engineering, quoting, factory operations, product, and software teams on specifications, design for manufacturability, procurement tools, and make-versus-buy decisions.
• Visit suppliers periodically to align on growth plans, performance, and blocker resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in engineering, procurement of CNC machining or metal manufacturing, contract negotiation, supply chain management, or material and demand planning.
• Experience identifying and executing optimized machining supply chains or other complex advanced-manufacturing supply chain systems.
• Ability to navigate engineering drawings and models and understand how components should be manufactured.
• Strong communication skills and experience managing cross-functional factory operations teams.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under ITAR regulations.
