Business Consultant/Solution Consultant (Retail Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Lead software implementation projects across the full project lifecycle for retail and wholesale customers.
• Design and optimize supply chain and retail planning processes through workshops, process maps, business specifications, user stories, and UI workflow designs.
• Analyze customer data and KPIs, configure hirify.global, and track business case realization.
• Deliver customer training, provide ongoing support, and drive change management and solution adoption.
• Support pre-sales activities, including scoping, value assessments, benefit analysis, and ROI case creation.
• Advise customers on RELEX best practices and help onboard partner companies for future project delivery.

Requirements

• Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain planning, retail operations, or business consulting.
• Experience with retail or wholesale demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage customer stakeholders.
• Experience conducting workshops, delivering training, and writing customer-facing documentation.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience with planning software such as RELEX, Blue Yonder, SAP, or Oracle RPAS.
• Experience working with Japanese retail chains.
• Project leadership experience or experience mentoring junior consultants.
