Strategy Insights & Planning Associate

Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Hybrid working model combining work from home with on-site presence at client and hirify.global offices for the majority of the week. Client-facing work may require travel as needed.

What you will do

• Develop solutions to client business problems using structured problem-solving skills and frameworks.
• Conduct market and desk research to generate insights and support client decision-making.
• Design custom analyses using Excel, Access, Confirmit, and proprietary hirify.global software.
• Synthesize and communicate findings to clients and hirify.global teams.
• Collaborate with client and internal teams to implement solutions and own assigned project deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record in business, economics, life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• Fluency in English and Japanese.
• Effective written and oral communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a quality-focused mindset.
• Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks, with initiative and a collaborative approach.
• Ability to obtain or already possess work authorization for the intended country of employment.

Nice to have

• Master's degree or PhD.
• Background in consulting, professional services, or the life sciences industry.
