Consulting Manager (Japan) (AEC/Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead, manage, and develop a consulting team serving customers across Japan.
• Set team direction, manage performance indicators, and maintain high standards of quality and customer service.
• Plan customer engagements, staffing, schedules, resources, and deliverables.
• Partner with Sales, Technical, Project Management, and Customer Success teams to achieve customer and business outcomes.
• Advise customers on business and technology transformation initiatives across Manufacturing and AEC.
• Improve consulting practices, delivery processes, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience managing and developing a team.
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Manufacturing or Architecture, Engineering, and Construction, with strong knowledge of relevant business processes.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and structured project management methodologies.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, collaboration, communication, and customer engagement skills.
• Professional fluency in Japanese and intermediate proficiency in English.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline; travel of up to 30%, including international travel, is required.

Nice to have

• Experience building high-performing teams in evolving business environments.
• Advanced experience developing Building Information Modeling workflows for architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Experience with hirify.global Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Revit, Civil 3D, hirify.global Navisworks, or InfraWorks.
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
